Dear Family, Friends & Community Members April 1, 2009
Well, here we are into our third year of Room For Joy! I look back with both great sadness and joy. As most of you know, Analee went to be with the Lord on Oct. 7th, 2008. We will miss her terribly but know that her smile is delighting those already in heaven. Our prayers continue to be with her parents, Robert and Irene as well as the rest of her family and friends. We trust that God will provide the comfort and healing needed.
It is with great joy and thankfulness we welcome Mark Cosby and Jamie Muth to the organization! Mark is our new President/Director of Operations and Jamie is the Director of Development. What all of that means is……Room For Joy is entering a new season and ramping up to become the kingdom building organization God intends for it to be. We are truly blessed to have these committed, Christ-centered people come on board!
On a personal note, my last day at Home Depot was Nov. 10th, 2008. My time is now fully committed to leading the organization to the next level. I am overwhelmed by God’s faithfulness and love and excited to see all that He is doing with Room For Joy! Once again, I am so humbled and honored to be called to serve Him in this ministry.
